8 October 2023 - [CSR Programme: Mid-Autumn Festival Community Caring Programme 2023]

Our UTP-ASEAN Student Association embarked on a meaningful journey at Persatuan Kebajikan Love and Care Menglembu Perak (Old Folks Home) for our Mid-Autumn Festival Community Caring Programme 2023. 

Our day was filled with joy as we celebrated the birthdays of the residents, sharing heartfelt moments through singing and dancing. We also took the time to give back by helping clean the facilities, spreading smiles and love throughout the home. It was truly a rewarding experience to connect with the elderly and bring a little warmth to their day.

In addition to our activities, we donated goods valued at RM 505.50 to help lighten their load and show our support for the incredible work they do. A huge thank you to our 18 dedicated UTP student volunteers who made this event a success! Your passion and commitment truly shine.

On the same day, October 8, 2023, our UTP-ASEAN Student Association extended our Mid-Autumn Festival Community Caring Programme to Rumah Sejahtera Jelapang! 

Our team of dedicated volunteers brought joy and warmth to the residents through engaging activities, including lively performances, games, and meaningful conversations. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces as we celebrated this festive occasion together. 

To further support the home, we donated essential goods worth RM 505.50, aiming to ease their daily needs and show that we care. A special shoutout to our amazing UTP student volunteers for their unwavering spirit and commitment to making a difference!

Continuing our mission of compassion, the UTP-ASEAN Student Association brought the Mid-Autumn Festival Community Caring Programme to New Hope Children’s Home on October 8, 2023! 

Our wonderful volunteers organized a day filled with joy and laughter, engaging the children with fun games, music, and interactive activities. The highlight of the day was sharing stories and creating beautiful lanterns together, illuminating not just the room but also their spirits! 

In our efforts to support the home, we also donated essential goods worth RM 505.50, aiming to provide some comfort and care to these young hearts. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated UTP student volunteers who made this event a memorable experience for everyone involved!

Our Mid-Autumn Festival Community Caring Programme continued its heartwarming journey at Pusat Jagaan 1 Malaysia Orphanage Home on 8 October 2023. UTP-ASEAN Student Association volunteers spent a wonderful day bringing joy to the children, filled with laughter, games, and meaningful connections.

Together with the kids, we crafted beautiful lanterns and shared the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, brightening not only the space but their smiles as well. To further support their needs, we donated essential items worth RM 505.50, ensuring they feel our love and care.

A huge shoutout to our 18 dedicated UTP student volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this day special. Your compassion truly shines!

Our Mid-Autumn Festival journey of compassion continued on 8 October 2023, as the UTP-ASEAN Student Association visited Pusat Anak-Anak Yatim Baitul Aini. Together with the children, we shared the joy of the festival through fun games, storytelling, and a lantern-making session, lighting up not just the room but also their hearts. 

As part of our mission to support and uplift the community, we donated essential goods worth RM 505.50 to ease their daily needs.  The smiles we saw and the bonds we formed will be cherished forever.

​While our Mid-Autumn Festival Community Caring Programme couldn’t go ahead as planned at Persatuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Kasih Sayang due to the children being unwell, our commitment to supporting them remained unwavering. Though we couldn’t visit in person, we ensured the children received essential goods and necessities worth RM 505.50 to help ease their care. 

Even from afar, we are sending them our best wishes for a speedy recovery and look forward to the opportunity to spend time with them in the future.
