Training of Trainers (TOT)
What is TOT?
The Train-the-Trainer (TOT) initiative under the AI Ready ASEAN program aims to equip selected individuals—referred to as Master Trainers—with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to deliver AI literacy programs (Hour of Code and In-Depth AI Training) across Malaysia. These sessions will ultimately empower youths, educators, and parents nationwide to embrace AI in a meaningful and responsible way.
Objectives

To develop a core team of certified Master Trainers capable of conducting localized AI training sessions.

To ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of the Hour of Code AI Campaign and 12-hour Intensive AI Literacy Training.

To scale the reach and impact of the AI Ready ASEAN curriculum in urban and underserved communities.

To foster leadership, innovation, and inclusivity in AI education.
Program Structure
TOT is conducted in two parts:

Hour of Code TOT: A short and engaging session designed to prepare trainers for facilitating AI awareness workshops focused on creativity, ethics, and responsible use of AI.

12-Hour Intensive TOT: An in-depth module that covers AI concepts, applications, hands-on activities, and pedagogy to prepare trainers for the full AI Literacy course.
