As part of our Road to Bandung Programme in conjunction with the ASEAN Youth Forum 2023, the UTP-ASEAN Student Association had the unforgettable opportunity to explore one of Indonesia’s natural wonders—Kawah Putih in Ciwidey, Bandung.

Accompanied by the FTIP Goes To School Team, our delegates immersed themselves in the breathtaking landscape of the volcanic crater lake, known for its surreal turquoise waters and mist-covered surroundings. The serene and otherworldly atmosphere of Kawah Putih provided a perfect setting to reflect on the deeper connections between nature, culture, and youth empowerment.

This nature excursion not only enriched the cultural exchange component of our programme but also allowed us to appreciate the environmental heritage of our ASEAN neighbour. Moments like these remind us of the importance of environmental preservation and shared regional experiences in shaping well-rounded youth leaders.

As we continue our journey to strengthen ASEAN ties, this visit to Kawah Putih will remain a cherished highlight—one that deepened our appreciation for nature and inspired new perspectives on sustainability and collaboration across borders.
