The UTP-ASEAN Student Association, in collaboration with the Student Mobility Office (CSD) and the Psychology and Counselling Services (CSE), proudly organized the ‘Learning Without Limits’ University Social Responsibility (USR) Programme at SK Telanok, nestled in the scenic Cameron Highlands.
This outreach initiative was designed to inspire and empower over 300 indigenous students through hands-on STEM education. What made this programme truly special was the involvement of 20 inbound international students from the United States, France, and India, who joined our team to deliver engaging, inclusive, and culturally sensitive learning experiences.

The day featured a series of interactive STEM workshops, where students had the opportunity to explore scientific concepts through fun and accessible experiments, including:
Water Rocket Launch – learning Newton’s Third Law in action
DIY Holograms – introducing light reflection and visual illusions
Soap-Powered Boats – understanding surface tension
Simple Circuit Building – sparking curiosity in electronics and engineering
The programme not only aimed to spark interest in science and technology but also to break down learning barriers by using playful, visual, and kinesthetic approaches tailored to the unique learning needs of rural and indigenous students.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to SK Telanok for warmly hosting us and to the teachers, facilitators, and international volunteers who made this effort impactful and meaningful. Together, we proved that learning truly has no limits—especially when driven by passion, inclusion, and global collaboration.
As part of our continued mission to promote equitable access to education and regional youth empowerment, the UTP-ASEAN Student Association looks forward to expanding similar outreach efforts across ASEAN.
Let’s build a future where no child is left behind—one STEM spark at a time.
