UTP-ASA Vice President Completes 3-Day Intervarsity Leadership Training Workshop (InVaLT) 2023

Our Vice President, Justin, proudly represented Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) at the Intervarsity Leadership Training Workshop (InVaLT) 2023, hosted by INTI International University, Malaysia. This 3-day national-level program convened student leaders from across Malaysian universities to strengthen youth leadership competencies and drive positive change on campus and beyond.

Throughout the intensive workshop, Justin participated in various capacity-building activities designed to enhance communication, critical thinking, and strategic planning. One of the highlights of the programme was the Core Case Study, where participants were grouped to develop solutions for real-life campus or community issues. Justin actively contributed to his group’s case study presentation, offering insights on sustainable leadership practices and inclusive student engagement strategies.

The workshop also featured impactful sessions on values-driven leadership, decision-making under pressure, and collaborative problem-solving. Through these activities, Justin gained valuable exposure to different leadership styles, while networking with fellow student leaders, youth advocates, and facilitators from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.

Justin’s participation in InVaLT reflects UTP-ASEAN Student Association’s ongoing commitment to nurturing competent, ethical, and regionally-minded student leaders who are ready to take on meaningful roles in shaping society.
